Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The tenth National Children's Football Tournament closed. It was opened in May on the occasion of the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.

A closing ceremony took place at the Songdowon International Children's Camp on June 1.

Present there were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, players and schoolchildren in the city of Wonsan.

The football players displayed their skill and high team spirit in the men's and women's finals held prior to the closing ceremony.

The men's and women's teams of Pyongyang Municipality came first in the tournament.

Citations, cups and medals as well as prizes were awarded to the teams which won the games. -0-
